About Mailbox Hugs and Group Hugs

Thank you for your interest in Mailbox Hugs!  Mailbox Hugs is a place where cardmakers can find inspiration and encouragement as we serve others and use our talents for God.

My name is Melissa.  I began Mailbox Hugs as a birthday present to myself.  I had recieved a card in the mail, which felt like getting a hug in my mailbox.  I wanted to give other people Hugs (cards) in their mailboxes.

Not long after that birthday, God called me to start the Group Hug ministry.  If you are interested in being a part of Mailbox Hugs' Group Hug it's really easy.  On the first of the month I announce a new person in need of a Group Hug both here on the blog and on Mailbox Hugs' Facebook page.  Here's what you need to do:

   * Pray for them and make them a card that is due on the first of the next month.

   * Sign your name and where you're from.  Feel free to write a note of encouragement &/or a verse of Scripture!

***Note***   If you are under 18 please use your first name only and your age.

   * Write the name of the recipient on the back flap of the envelope (where you seal it) because sometimes Hugs come trickling in after        I've announced the next recipient and this helps me keep them straight.

   * Mail your Hug to:  P.O. Box 499 Roanoke, TX 76262-0499

That's it!  At the end of the month I take all the Hugs and send them off as one big Group Hug!
